Mol Bàn provides self catering accommodation in the Isle of Harris: a dog friendly, comfortable contemporary house in a sublime, tranquil location with unparalleled views on the rocky, rugged east coast of Harris. Enjoy long walks, deserted sandy beaches, undisturbed wildlife, fishing, fresh air, peace and quiet, fine dining, sea trips or perhaps wild swimming, stand up paddle boarding or kayaking in the bay. Mol Bàn is a new build Hebridean style long house with modern styling, panoramic windows, slate floors, underfloor heating, log burner, open plan and a stylishly furnished double height lounge, 360 degree uninterrupted views of the mountains behind and the sea in front - all the way over to Skye and the Scottish Highlands. You can sit all day and watch the buzzards, gulls, eagles, seals, otters, herons, whales and dolphins or just the ferries coming and going between the isles.

We have a well equipped kitchen and utility room with washing machine, dishwasher, fridge/ freezer, oven, microwave and gas hob. There is a dining area that seats six. The lounge area has comfortable mid century modern sofas, an armchair,  a Freesat smart TV and Bluetooth soundbar. Wi-fi is available: fast, low contention and unlimited data. The larch decking area is ideal for yoga or just laying back and looking at the stars in the night sky. We also provide an outdoor dining area, lounge chairs and a barbecue. Mol Bàn sleeps six people in three bedrooms: 1 twin (w/ ensuite - shower), 1 double. One family bathroom (with a bath!) on the ground floor and 1 king size upstairs (w/ ensuite - shower). All bedrooms have a sea view.

The house is ideally positioned as a base for a trip out to St Kilda, from Leverburgh, or for other sea trips with your own boat or as a passenger on one of the many excellent local sea excursions.
